So yeah, I know it has been a while since I signed on here and posted anything new....don't know if anyone even watches my account anymore. I hope to get back to doing art again soon though. I miss you guys. That being said, I have an announcement. As most of you know, and I got married last year. We've been together since 2008. Well we found out in July that we are going to have a baby... So we are due for our little one in March. Funny thing is as a lot of you know I have a son, Tyler that is 18 years old. His bday is March 4th and this baby's due date is March 5th. So we are going to  have our hands full. We are all very excited and going to be a bit busy for a while. Hope all of you are doing well and I'm sorry if I have not responded to any messages or replies or comments that you have left. I miss you all and please leave me a message and let me know how you all are doing. Hugs to you all. 

Sorry I have been gone so long, not sure who all is still around. I hope all of you are doing well. I've been busy, Tyler is a senior in high school now. He has been in summer school because he goofed around during the year and didn't get some of his credits but it will all work out in the end. Summer has been hot so far, kind of miss the cold. Not much going on besides the fact that I am getting married in 2 weeks....

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Hope you all have a great holiday with family and friends. Oh....it's been almost a year since I updated this thing...Sorry about that. Not sure if anyone still watches my page anymore since I went missing. However, if anyone is watching this I shall update this thing and see what I can do about being here a bit more. So far this year my mom has been in the hospital, my step-dad has been diagnosed with kidney failure and my son is a junior in high school. Also this year, I got engaged in August!! Yay me!! So what have all of you been up to? I miss being here and hopefully I will be here again soon. I miss working on my art. I miss all of you!!!

So, the count down is on for another year to bite the dust. Here's to hoping that 2013 is way better than 2012. Not sure that anyone reads my journal because I am not usually here but here's a year in review.

                                  2012

My son broke his hand, had to have surgery. The before mentioned included one steel plate and seven screws. It is healing up nicely and the physical therapist says that he should have full motion and movement of his hand.

My mother was diagnosed with lupus among other things. She had a liver biopsy done on Friday. We are waiting to hear the results to find out what is causing damage to her liver if it is indeed lupus and if not what it is she is facing.

We moved to a better place in May. Wonderfully quiet compared to the last place. Nothing like waking up every morning to gun fire. Nothing says get up faster than the sound of a bullet being shot at an unknown target. lol

My son wants to get his permit to learn how to drive......I'm scared lol

My boyfriend, got me a new TV for Christmas so that my son will stay off of mine. I love watching my shows and it's hard to do when you have a teenager hogging the TV playing his Xbox all the time.

Celebrated my 4 year anniversary with on December 28th. I guess it is true what they say....time flies.

Saw my dad for the first time in 3 years. He had gotten married and moved to Georgia where she lived. They finally sold her house and moved back to my dad's so I got to see him and meet her for the first time. She's pretty nice.

A bunch of other stuff happened this year but I'll spare you the details and boredom. How is everyone? I miss you all and I am planning on doing some manips that I have been working on. What's new?

So, it has been a while since I put up a new journal. There has been a combination of a lot happening around here and nothing happening around here. My son, Tyler (some of you know him), broke his hand recently. First major break he has had, hopefully the last as well. He, being a typical teenager (gah I feel old saying that), fell off my mother's porch and landed on the concrete and broke the bone in his hand that is between the pinky and his wrist. Not only did he break it, he broke it in such a way that it would not lay right no matter what they did, so a cast was not the answer. He went all weekend with a half cast and found out he following Monday that there was no traditional way to set the bone and it stay. So needless to say he had to have surgery, also his first and hopefully his last lol. They had to go in and put a steel plate and two screws in his hand and wear a half cast for a week and a half. He is due to go back to the doctor on Monday to see if they can remove the cast and maybe put him in a brace or see if he can go without one entirely. Crossing my fingers on that one. He was nervous about the surgery, asked a lot of important questions one would not think a 15 year old would even contemplate asking. So proud. He has handled this whole thing like a champ. After the first few days he said the pain was gone and all that bugged him was the itching. Unfortunately I know the feeling, having broken over half the bones in my body over the course of my childhood. Anyway, he asked the doctor before the surgery if the steel plate would remain in his hand or would it eventually have to be removed and if so how long before he would have to have it removed. The doctor said that most people are fine with having it stay in but some wanted it removed simply because the idea of having metal in their body freaked them out. So the doctor told Tyler that the question he needed to ask himself was, would it bother him to set off metal detectors the rest of his life lol. Tyler laughed, much later I might add, he didn't seem to find it quite so amusing at the time though. So, aside from that, life has been work and sleep, eating when I get hungry and watching my cat Tiger continue to sit in the window and pretend to be a dog. Not sure if anyone will read this but there you go. How are all of you? What's new in your world?
